Aadhaar Enabled Payment System

System Settings to be done to perform AEPS (Aadhaar Enabled Payment System) Transactions:
1. Check the JRE (java run time environment) version of the system using command prompt:
After running the command “ java –version”, java version should be displayed if java is installed in the system.
Check the java version. It should be 32 bit JRE version 1.6 or 1.7.
If JRE is the 64 bit then uninstall it and install 32 bit java version Java 1.6 or 1.7.
If JRE is not installed in the system, install 32 bit java version Java 1.6 or 1.7.
2. If java is not installed on system then check OS version as follows:
Go to My Computer icon right click on it and go to properties.
If OS version is 64 bit then, 32 bit JRE should be installed in following path.
C:\\Program Files (x86)\\
3. If OS version is 32 bit then 32 bit JRE has to be installed .
4. If the JRE version is 1.6 or 1.7 32 bit then do the following settings through JAVA control panel :
Ø Go to Control Panel -> Programs
Ø
Click on Java (If OS is 32 bit)
Ø Click on Java (32 - bit)- If OS is 64 bit
Ø Uncheck the Java Plug-in Check box Under Java Control Panel -> Advanced ->java Plug in -> Enable next-generation Java Plug-in (requires browser restart).
5. Download Java Policy files from KIOSK Portal Login Page (By clicking on Applet Settings Button) and place the Policy files in following location of system :
64 bit OS: C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\lib\security
32 bit OS: C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\lib\security
6. Download UIDAI certificate from KIOSK Portal Login Page (By clicking on Download certificate button), create a folder in C Drive in your system with name cert and put certificate.cer in the folder.
C:\cert\certificate.cer
7. OPTIONAL : If Applet is not able to download from Server due to Slow connectivityDownload JAR files from KIOSK Portal Login Page (By Clicking on Download Jars Button) and Placed in following location :
C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\lib\ext
